This continuing education (CE) offering is suitable for experienced public safety psychologists. The presentation addresses the use of the CPI-434 for pre-employment evaluations to assess law enforcement candidates' suitability. It will cover the interpretation of CPI-434 results, focusing on personality traits linked to job performance, ethical decision-making, and resilience. Special emphasis will be placed on assessing candidates' bias to ensure. Additionally, the presentation will review peer-reviewed research supporting the CPI-434’s reliability and validity in law enforcement selection. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to conduct preemployment evaluations with the CPI-434.
