Mailbox
The JRA Mailbox system provides a secure way to send files -- such as JRA test reports -- back and forth over the Internet for users who have been assigned JRA Mailbox accounts. To use the JRA Mailbox system you would enter the web address for the Mailbox (www.johnsonroberts.com/files) on your browser, then enter your user ID and password on the login screen. This will display your personal Mailbox account with tabs for the Inbox (files that other users have sent to you), the Outbox (files that you have sent to other users), and the Send File screen. |
Mailbox Security
The security of the JRA Mailbox is comparable to the security used for on-line credit card processing systems. SSL is used for all data transmission. All data is 256 bit encrypted on the Mailbox website. Note: The files are not encrypted after being downloaded to Mailbox users, unless they have been encrypted prior to sending. - A description of the file(s) being sent
- An expiration date, after which the file(s) will be deleted from the Mailbox of the person(s) to whom the files were sent. (To save a file indefinitely, the person receiving the file would download it to his computer.)
