Conducting Preemployment Assessment with the CPI and PAI Police and Public Safety Reports

​An Introduction to the use of the CPI-260 and PAI in Preemployment Public Safety Evaluations.

This continuing education (CE) offering is suitable for experienced public safety psychologists. The presentation will provide psychologists with a comprehensive understanding of how the CPI-260 and the PAI can be used to assess personality traits and psychological functioning relevant to law enforcement suitability. It will explore the strengths of each instrument, including their roles in identifying risk factors, decision-making abilities, and interpersonal effectiveness. Peer-reviewed research supporting the reliability and validity of both assessments in law enforcement selection will be reviewed. Attendees will leave with a clearer understanding of how to conduct preemployment evaluations using the CPI-260 and PAI.
